To update your Brother drivers manually, please follow the steps below.

1) Visit http://www.brother-usa.com/

Step 2) Click on the "downloads/FAQs/Help & More .

Step 3) Click on the arrow on the left hand-side of Software Downloads .

Step 4) Select your product family and model, and then click on the "View Download".

Step 5) The results will show on the bottom part, click on it to continue.

Step 6) You have to choose the type and language of your operating system, then press Search

Step 7) Click on the "More Information" to continue .

Step 8) Then click on the "Download" .

Step 9) Please press "I Accept" and it will start downloading .

Step 10) Choose a place to unzip your downloaded file and click on "Decompress" .
